Journalize Your Wonderful Memories...

Journals-Everybody has a story, whether it's a quote from a child or a fond memory. Write it down or take a picture...it will always take you back to that specific moment.

As much as I don't like to write, I have always loved stationary, pens and journals. Call me crazy, but when I visit a store, I always go to the stationary aisle and just love to see all of the varities of "stuff". My all time fave is a set of "Sharpies"...ooh, I just get goose bumps! But, that's another blog for another time.

Years ago, a close friend of mine gave me a journal that she had made. Since then, I have made several and given them out as gifts. I don't know if the recepients were as excited as I was when I received mine. They are so easy to make...here is one for show. I don't have every step by step broken down, but just wanted to show you the endless possibilities.

Start off with a very inexpensvie "composition notebook"...If you know me, I am very thrifty and always excited about the bargain of the week.

Like I said, I'm very thrifty...If you look closely, I only paid twelve cents for this notebook at Target and bought all that they had...hmmm, about thirty of them.

Ok, then I bought beautiful paper from Hobby Lobby when they were going out of business. So, yes, again, I paid next to nothing for the paper. I always save ribbon, cards and postage. Never know when they might come in handy. Below, I used a picture that was on a card that I had received and vintage postage that I just love.
